What is the Red Ribbon Run?

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking to walk in solidarity, every step you take will help provide essential support, healthcare, and resources for our community. All the funds we raise for World AIDS Day go directly back to supporting our work at Thorne Harbour Health. 

This event is a celebration of resilience, strength, and the power of our community. Together, we’ll honour those we've lost, support those living with HIV, and work towards a future free from stigma. After the race, stick around for food trucks, information about community services, and speeches from living legends.

How Can I Get Involved? 

• Register to run: walk, run or jog either 3.6km, 7.2km or 10.8km. This is an untimed route, with all participants encouraged to go at their own pace. 
• Observe the run: enjoy the runners village, entertainment and cheer on the runners !
• Support a runner: head to our Grassrootz page to support our runners fundraising for World AIDS Day.

How Can I Fundraise? 

Fundraising this year is easier than ever, it takes just a couple of minutes for runners to set up their own fundraising page via Grassrootz.

After you sign up, you'll receive fundraising information, explaining how you can get your family, friends, and colleagues involved. 

Registration Cost: 

• Early Bird (Until 7th September) : $50
• General Registration (Until 9th November) : $60
• Late Registration: $70
• Concession: $30

All people living with HIV and First Nations community members can register for free. Register by emailing worldaidsday@thorneharbour.org.

Financial Hardship

If you would like to participate but need to discuss a payment plan or you're fundraising to cover your registration, please do contact us at worldaidsday@thorneharbour.org. 

Group Entry
If you would like to register a group of 10 or more participants, please get in touch with us to discuss costs.

• 1:00 PM: Runners Village Closes
