As a member of Thorne Harbour Health, you can vote at our Annual General Meeting, vote to elect our Board of Directors, and stand for election yourself.
Membership levels
Membership costs range from $33 per year to free, depending on your circumstances.
Ordinary Membership - $33
Our ordinary membership is available to anyone who wishes to join our organisation.
Concession Membership - $16.50
This level is available to anyone who holds a valid concession card.
PLHIV Membership - Free
We offer free memberships to anyone living with HIV who wishes to be a member.
First Nations Membership - Free
First Nations peoples living with HIV and Rainbow Mob are welcome to join for free.

Our members play an important role in our organisation. Becoming a member gives you a voice and ensures that the communities we serve have a say in guiding Thorne Harbour Health's direction.
When you become a member, you will receive a welcome letter indicating that your membership is active. This is proof of your currently active financial membership. It can come as an email or a physical letter, depending on your preference.
Your membership is valid for the financial year in which you apply (1 July to 30 June). If you are already an active member, you can renew for your next year in advance. If you do not renew your membership by the renewal date, your membership will lapse. Your membership will remain active for six months after the date of lapse.
To change your membership level online, click 'Change' under the Membership Level in your Member Profile. Then, select the membership option that best suits your circumstances. Follow the prompts to renew. Alternatively, you can call (03) 9865 6700 to request the change, and we will update your membership record.
