Join us this World AIDS Day period for the return of the Thorne Harbour Health Red Ribbon Run 2026—a community-driven, non-competitive fun run and walk that welcomes people of all ages, fitness levels and abilities.
Held around the beautiful Albert Park Lake, the Red Ribbon Run brings our community together to raise awareness and vital funds for people living with HIV while recognising that HIV Still Matters.
Whether you choose to walk, jog or run, every step you take helps support Thorne Harbour Health's HIV programs and community services.
Together we honour those we've lost, celebrate the resilience of people living with HIV, and continue working towards a future free from stigma.
Sponsors to be announced shortly!
All runners have the opportunity to do their own fundraising which only takes a few minutes to set up on the platform Zeffy .
While fundraising isn't mandatory, the registration fee only covers event costs so every cent of runner fundraising directly supports vital HIV services and programs.
All people living with HIV and First Nations community members can register for free. Register by emailing worldaidsday@thorneharbour.org
Financial Circumstances
If you would like to participate but need to discuss a payment plan or you're fundraising to cover your registration, please contact us at worldaidsday@thorneharbour.org.
Run Club/ Team Registration
If a group of 10+ runners from a run club/organisation want to register, we can provide you with a unique discount code.
Terms & Conditions
All participants agree to the terms & conditions upon registering for the event.
Additional participant inclusions may be announced closer to the event.
Event Schedule
The course follows the shared pathways around Albert Park Lake, consisting primarily of sealed and compact paths suitable for most participants.
Some sections may become more difficult to navigate following wet weather. If you have accessibility requirements or questions about the course, please contact the event organisers before the event.
The Runner's Village is the heart of the event, bringing together community organisations, supporters and participants.
HIV focused health & community organisations can register a stall for free to participate in the runners village.
