End Stigma. Start Respect.

Doors open 5.00pm for a 6.00pm start
Smoking Ceremony at 5.30pm in the garden

Each year, the World AIDS Day Memorial brings our community together to remember those we have lost to HIV/AIDS, honour their lives and acknowledge the enduring impact of the epidemic on individuals, families and communities.

The memorial is also an opportunity to recognise the strength and resilience of people living with HIV, reflect on how far we have come, and reaffirm our collective commitment to ending HIV stigma through understanding, compassion and respect.

Through personal reflections, music and ceremony, we will celebrate the lives, stories and connections that continue to shape our community, while remembering those whose contributions and memories remain with us.

The evening will begin with a Smoking Ceremony in the garden, followed by the memorial program hosted by Sally-Anne Upton.

We will hear personal reflections from Cate Rowe, June Collins and Mohamed Al Abri, with a special musical performance by vocal powerhouse Adam Noviello.

Presented by Thorne Harbour Health and the Melbourne AIDS Quilt, with support from Positive Women Victoria and Living Positive Victoria.
