Northside Bizarre
Our iconic kink and fetish street party. Saturday 10 October, 2026.
Thanks to you, Northside Bizarre raised over $40,000 for our services in 2025.
What is Northside Bizarre?
Northside Bizarre is an iconic kink and fetish street party bringing together queer communities for a day of playful debauchery, community celebration, and crucial fundraising for Thorne Harbour Health.
Northside Bizarre raises essential funds for Thorne Harbour Health’s services, including the David Williams Fund for people living with HIV. Over the years, the event has raised tens of thousands of dollars for our communities.
Auction House 2026
We have nearly 100 donations from 60+ businesses and individuals up for grabs to the highest bidder. These include everything from artwork and experience vouchers to tickets to the hottest parties, premium kinky items and products – there really is something for everybody!

What to look forward to
There is so much happening at this year's Northside Bizarre across the day from businesses, community groups and performers.
Leather & Treasure
We have second hand leather (vests, pants, chaps, harnesses, shorts, hats, gloves and belts), rubber, denim, pup gear, uniforms, boots, biker gear, sportswear, cuffs, magazines, books and more – it’s a huge range of goodies at bargain prices you won’t find anywhere else.
Alley Marketplace
Come and say hello to this year’s Alley Marketplace stallholders, including our Major Sponsor, Hey Fella.
Laird Stage Performances & Demos
We have an incredible line-up of performers and educators running kink-inspired demonstrations and live shows on the Laird Stage.
Masterbaker
This is the ultimate bake-off competition, with LGBTIQ+ sporting groups from around Melbourne whipping up delicious baked goods – think cakes, brownies and tarts – to sell for a $3 donation per piece, with all proceeds going towards the Northside Bizarre fundraising total.
BearBQ
Grab yourself a delicious sausage sizzle from the Vic Bears.
When is Northside Bizarre?
Northside Bizarre takes place each October.
The first Northside Bizarre was held in 2011, hosted by Thorne Harbour Health, The Laird Hotel, and JOY 94.9. The event has always celebrated Melbourne's queer kink community and raised funds for our LGBTIQA+ communities and people living with HIV.
This year, the event is on Saturday October 10, 2026.
