Our Approach

You shouldn't have to start from scratch just because you've moved states or it's been a while since you were connected to community. Our peer navigators have lived experience of HIV themselves, so you're never explaining the basics before getting real support. Whatever brought you here, newly diagnosed or reconnecting, we'll help you find your people.

Our supports

Contact us by phone or email, or come see us in person to access support. We'll guide you through the process and connect you with what works for you.

Peer involvement strengthens social connections, allowing people living with HIV to discuss, share, and support one another as they pursue self-satisfaction and empowerment. HIV peer navigation includes:

  • Providing advice in relation to appropriate care and support pathways
  • Creating opportunities for clients to network with other peers either one-to-one or in peer groups
  • Direct support regarding medical visits
  • Providing clients with current care information
  • Advocating for clients in healthcare settings

A monthly lunch with Positive Life SA for people living with HIV to connect and access the community pantry.

A space for people living with HIV under 50 to connect and see how others navigate similar circumstances.
